What is Budget Pronto?
Budget Pronto is an online tool to help you set and track your finances. You don't have to install anything on your computer and you can accesss your Budget Pronto account from anywhere with an internet connection.

What is an ATR?
ATR stands for Automated Transaction Retrieval. The Individual and Family plans of Budget Pronto can be configured to automatically get transactions from participating banks and financial institutions, so you don't have to enter them manually. In addition, Budget Pronto can learn how you want these transactions to be categorized and begin to do this for you as well. The number of accounts you can retrieve transactions from is determined by the plan you are on, and your bank or financial institution may charge you additional fees that are not included with your Budget Pronto subscription.

How secure is Budget Pronto?
All access to your account is protected by your password, and pages with your information are all secured by SSL, the standard in Internet protection. In addition, all sensitive data you store on Budget Pronto is encrypted in our servers. Budget Pronto does not store your credit card information used for your Budget Pronto subscription, and does not store the passwords you use for your ATR's.

Is my data backed up?
Yes, your data is backed up regularly at our secure datacenter. Should anything happen to the regular copy of your data, Budget Pronto can restore a recent backup within minutes, with no effort on your part.

Can I import my data?
Budget Pronto can automatically import your transactions from most banks and financial institutions via ATR's. Budget Pronto will be providing the ability to import data from several other sources in the near future. To request other sources you'd like to be able to import from, Contact Us.

Can I export my data?
Budget Pronto can export your data to Excel or other spreadsheet format for use in other financial applications. When you are logged in to Budget Pronto, click the "Reports" tab and choose the Export link.

What kind of support do you provide?
Email support is standard with all Budget Pronto plans. Individual and Family plans include Premium Support, including answers to email usually within three business hours.

How much does Budget Pronto cost?
Budget Pronto has a free version available to anyone. For additional features and flexibility, including ATR's, consider our Individual or Family plans. Monthly and annual payment terms are available.

Why do I have to enter my passwords each time for my ATR's?
To improve security, Budget Pronto does not store passwords associated with your ATR's. Each time you want to retrieve transactions using an ATR, you will be prompted for the password for that ATR.
